Important information about our services and your agreement with us.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By contacting us for our furniture restoration services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Estimates and Quotes
All estimates provided are free of charge and valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. The final price may differ if additional work is required or if the scope of work changes after initial assessment. Any significant changes to the project scope will be discussed and approved by you before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% is required to begin work on your project. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before delivery or pickup. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Returned checks are subject to a $35 processing fee.
4. Timeline and Delivery
Estimated completion dates are provided as approximations and may be affected by material availability, complexity of work, or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any delays. Delivery fees are determined by distance and will be outlined in your estimate.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your furniture piece and your restoration goals. Please notify us of any pre-existing damage, repairs attempted by others, or other relevant conditions. We are not responsible for issues resulting from undisclosed pre-existing conditions.
6. warranties and Satisfaction
We take pride in our workmanship and are committed to your satisfaction. If you have concerns about the quality of our work, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will work with you to address any legitimate concerns. This warranty covers craftsmanship but not normal wear or damage caused by misuse.
7. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel before work begins, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel after work has commenced, the deposit covers our time and materials invested, and is non-refundable. If you fail to respond to communications for 60 days after work has begun, the project will be considered abandoned and your deposit retained.
8. Liability
While we exercise great care with all furniture in our possession, we cannot be held liable for pre-existing conditions, inherent weaknesses in materials, or deterioration that occurs despite our restoration efforts. Insurance for valuable antique pieces is recommended.
9. Intellectual Property
We retain the right to photograph completed projects for our portfolio and marketing purposes unless you specifically request otherwise. We will not share identifying information about you without permission.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in Connecticut courts.
